Abinash Gogoi an enthusiatic, charismatic and dynamic frontman, for the people of Dibrugarh. Since his youth, he has had a strong stance in favour of regionalism. Being the youngest leader of the Congress Party in Assam, his mission for a united, progressive India – an India where he wants to open small shops of love and a united progressive India, in the dominant market of anger and hatred; an India that protects its poor and offers equal opportunity for all is well evident in his leadership. Furthermore, he thinks that India can only create jobs through boosting and encouraging the manufacturing industry and small and medium-sized enterprises. He promotes democracy as a greater public good and pledges to do everything in his power to safeguard all of its diverse institutions.

Abinash Gogoi is the youngest ever to hold the position of Secretary of the Assam Pradesh Congress Committee. He previously served as the Secretary & Spokesperson of the National Students’ Union of India. He is an avid reader and a persuasive speaker who stays informed on the latest advancements and developments in economics, society, and technology. Abinash Gogoi is self-employed and a successful businessman by profession. He received his undergraduate degree in business administration from Dibrugarh University and his postgraduate degree in human rights from the Indian Institute of Human Rights in New Delhi.

Abinash Gogoi hails from the tranquil Assamese town of Dibrugarh in Upper Assam, often known as the “Tea City of India,” which is his assembly constituency. He has been putting in a lot of effort to end child labour and marriages in the Tea Estate areas of his constituency by promoting sports and helping them develop entreprenurial skills with a mindset to help contribute to rural development and uplift the rural economy. He aspires to promote Financial Literacy, Sex Education, Mental Health Awareness among masses, Gender Equal Pay & Gender Neutral Workspaces in the state of Assam as a legislator in coming days.
